UO Farmer's Market, October 22nd

On October 22nd, the Real Food Project is bringing the Farmer's Market to the University of Oregon campus for the first time ever!

There will be fun events going on all day:
- Food drive for Food For Lane County
- Live music
- Screenprinting images of fruits and veggies onto clothing and canvas bags, etc. (Bring your own items to screenprint!)
- Cider pressing
- Compost demonstration

Look for the O Nutrition table and stop by and say hello! We will be offering a taste-testing demo of organic vs. non-organic apples, as well as information about the nutrient content of organics vs. non-organics, and information about the fruits and vegetables with the highest pesticide content.

The Real Food Project is not just one club or student group; but a "network of groups and individuals devoted to making tangible changes in the UO food system, creating a sustainable and just food system."
